There’s one thing that can bring us all together.
When we began developing the concept for Aiken Hound & Home Magazine, we wanted to bring a sense of community with this publication and its events.
One thing that stuck out was outdoorsmanship. The bond that hunting and fishing strings between generations is undeniable. Some of it is learned, other aspects inherited, but once you see it passed on to family members and between friends, it truly is magical.
The Aiken community and its small business owners were another inspiration. The grit and talent that we have in Aiken is inspiring and we want to honorably showcase that.
Aiken was founded in 1835, and later became a “Winter Colony” for the wealthy. The beautiful homes from that era are an inspiration for a lifestyle of beauty and hospitality, from the front porch to the garden.
Thus the name Aiken Hound & Home was born, and we hope that you enjoy the journey!
We can’t wait to share this with you.
